Glock 19 Gen 5

The Glock 19 Gen5 belongs to the 5th generation from Glock guns, which has been largely optimized. Among the improvements brought, we find:

• A new match quality cannon, twice as precise.
• A new finish of the breech and barrel consisting of nDLC* protection.
• A flared magazine well integrated into the carcass to facilitate magazine changes.
• An ambidextrous cylinder head retainer.
• A profile of the front of the cylinder head similar to that of the Glock 26.
• The handle no longer has fingerprints. It therefore adapts to all hand sizes.
• The striker safety, the trigger and the trigger block comprising the ejector have been modified in order to soften the trigger.
• The Gen5 charger features a slightly oversized orange lift and charger heel. Despite this, the gun is compatible with older Glock magazines.

* Vapor phase deposition of Amorphous Diamond Carbon on prior nitriding. nDLC protection is exclusive to the Glock manufacturing process. It is only found on generation 5 pistols. It makes the weapon more reliable in the absence of lubricant and in adverse conditions thanks to an extremely low coefficient of friction.
